Health Services

    Hello, my name is Betty Cooper.  This is my third year of working part time at West Hollywood Elementary.  I received my RN license and BS degree from Loma Linda University and a degree in public health nursing from Cal. State University, Northridge.

    During the school year the kindergarten, grade 2, grade 5 classes and any newly enrolled students will have both vision and hearing checked.  The audiometrist is scheduled for this school from May 29 to June 1, 2007.

    One of my goals is to assist parents who do not have medical providers find referral sources for correction of student's physical defects.  Another is illness prevention and improved school attendance through the student's frequent hand washing and adequate sleep.

 

  • A registered nurse will be on campus this year every Monday and Thursday.
